About this Physics and Astronomy article

On Multifractality and Multifractal Specific Heat in Ion–ion Collisions by Shakeel Ahmad; A.R. Khan; M. Zafar; M. Irfan is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

Multifractality in relativistic charged particles and medium energy target associated protons is investigated by analyzing the experimental data on 10.6 A GeV/c 197 Au-AgBr and 14.5 A GeV/c 28 Si-AgBr collisions following Takaji's approach. The findings are compared with the predictions of Lund Monte Carlo model, FRITIOF. The observed power law behavior reflects the self-similar property of the multiparticle production process. Values of generalized dimensions and multifractal specific heat, obtained in the present study, indicate the presence of multifractality in the angular distributions of medium energy knock-out protons and produced relativistic particles at the two energies considered.

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Physics and Astronomy.
