What is Efficient Cancelable Face Recognition about?
The document presents a new approach for cancelable face recognition based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). ECC has been used to encrypt biometric templates during enrollment. During authentication, the biometric trait is transformed in the same way and matched to the encrypted templates in the database. Three face databases were used to test the performance. ROC curves and correlation scores showed the proposed approach is efficient, robust, and achieves promising results.
