What is Four Years in Paradise about?

The book is the story of Osa and Martin Johnson's second expedition to Africa, spent filming widlife. It took place in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya, a little known area named by the Johnson's as Lake Paradise, and went from 1924 to 1927. The Lake Paradise expedition was first written about in two chapters in Osa's first best selling book, "I Married Adventure". From the over whelming public response to that book Osa followed up with a more detailed picture of what life was like in Africa for them on this journey. In "Four Years In Paradise" Osa had the time to expand on their adventures with all sorts of jungle wild life, their domestic and professional arrangements, housekeeping and gardening, taking, developing, and prints thousands of photographs and moving films in the midst of a 'circus all day long and it doesn't cost a cent'.
