What is Couchiching FN Toll Booth about?

Couchiching First Nation will set up a toll booth near the west end of the Noden Causeway. The decision stems from the failure of the federal and provincial governments to properly compensate the community for the land on which highway 11 is built. The band will also begin charging a fee for all who launch boats from the Five-Mile Dock. The exact length of time which the toll booth will be in operation is unknown.
