What is Shah Sultan Rumi: Shāh Sultān Qamar Ad-Dīn Rumī about?

Shah Sultan Rumi was an 11th century Sufi Muslim figure believed to be the first to visit and settle in Bengal, arriving in 1053 CE. He and his followers settled in modern-day Netrokona and converted many to Islam, angering the local king. However, Rumi demonstrated spiritual powers and was granted land, establishing the village of Madanpur. A shrine was later built at his burial site in Madanpur.
