Solar-Powered Ice Block Systems for Indonesia by Jonah butler is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Solar-Powered Ice Block Systems for Indonesia about?

The document discusses the development of an off-grid solar cooling system for producing block ice in Indonesian fisheries. It aims to optimize the system for irregular solar irradiation by allowing flexible cold production through variable compressor speeds and thermal storage. Experiments showed common freezing of ice blocks is possible with optimized hydraulics. The system will be demonstrated in Indonesia, with control software developed in Germany to maximize daily ice production based on solar availab
