What is Tower Building Design Challenge about?
The students will participate in an engineering design challenge to build the tallest freestanding tower out of gumdrops and toothpicks. They will have two attempts, first in a team with limited materials, and second with more materials where they can choose to work individually or with a team. The tallest tower will win a prize. The constraints are that the towers must be built within 10 minutes and stand alone for measurement.
