Timun Emas grew up happily with Mbok Rondho until she turned 16, when Buto Ijo came to take her as he had promised. Timun Emas brought terasi with her into the jungle to confront Buto Ijo. When he found her, she threw the terasi at him, causing him to sink into a muddy lake and die. Timun Emas then returned home safely to live
