What is HPLC Analysis of Edible Leaf Compounds about?

This article analyzes the phenolic acids, flavonoids, and ascorbic acid content of two wild edible leaves, Sonchus arvensis and Oenanthe linearis, collected from Northeast India using HPLC. The study found high amounts of ascorbic acid and gallic acid in solvent extracts of both plants. The developed HPLC method was validated and showed suitable quantification of the compounds with high recovery percentages and low detection limits.
