What is Probabilistic Routing for Intermittent Networks about?

Probabilistic Routing in Intermittently Connected Networks (PROPHET) is a probabilistic routing protocol that is designed for intermittently connected networks where end-to-end paths between sources and destinations may not always exist. PROPHET uses a metric called delivery predictability to probabilistically determine the likelihood that a node will deliver a message to its destination. The protocol is compared to Epidemic Routing through simulations, and is shown to deliver more messages than Epidemic Ro
