This research article presents a hybrid bat algorithm with path relinking (HBA-PR) to address the capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP), which is known to be NP-hard. The HBA-PR integrates the greedy randomized adaptive search procedure and path relinking into the bat algorithm to enhance its performance. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of HBA-PR in solving CVRP compared to existing methods.
