About this document

Plant Extracts vs. Fungicides for Lentil Rot by vasumathimaan is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study evaluates the effectiveness of eight fungicides and seven plant extracts against Sclerotium rolfsii, the pathogen causing collar rot in lentils. Garlic clove extract at 15% concentration and Pyraclostrobin fungicide were found to completely inhibit the growth and sclerotia production of the pathogen. Other fungicides like Captan and Carbendazim + Mancozeb also showed significant inhibitory effects, while some tested extracts had limited efficacy.
