What is Pain Neuroscience Education for Chronic Pain about?

This project evaluated pain neuroscience education (PNE) delivered online to low-income older adults to increase knowledge of chronic pain and influence more health-promoting interpretations of pain. A pre-post test design collected quantitative and qualitative data. Analysis found PNE significantly increased knowledge and positively impacted pain interpretations. PNE shows promise as a preventative health approach for chronic pain among vulnerable populations.
