This study explores the effectiveness of Task-Based Learning (TBL) in teaching writing skills to EFL students at the University of Jeddah, moving away from the traditional Presentation, Practice, Production model. Data collected through teacher notes, peer observation, and student surveys indicated that while TBL was largely successful, challenges in activity management and feedback emerged. The study advocates for further action research to validate TBL and explore additional pedagogical approaches.
