This study evaluated the performance of precision porous pipes (PPP) for irrigation made from recycled rubber tires. PPPs were buried at depths of 15, 22.5, and 30 cm with and without sand envelopes. Maximum and minimum discharge rates were found to be 18.15-15.82 lph/m (22.5 cm depth) and 13.21-11.75 lph/m (15 cm depth). Crop growth and yield were highest for PPPs at 30 cm depth.
