This study investigates the effects of chitosan oligosaccharides (COSs) on alleviating heat-stress-induced lipid metabolism disorders in broilers by enhancing hepatic antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacities. Results show that COS supplementation improves growth performance and reduces abdominal fat deposition while mitigating oxidative stress and inflammation in the liver. The findings suggest that COS could be a beneficial dietary additive for managing heat stress in poultry.
