About this document

Electrochemical Decolourisation of Indigo is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document summarizes a study that investigated the electrochemical decolorization of indigo dye wastewater. Various electrolytes including halide salts and sodium metabisulfite were tested, and sodium chloride provided the highest decolorization at low energy consumption. Further experiments optimized the sodium chloride concentration and dye concentration. The treatment process was then successfully scaled up to a 20 L reactor.
