The Sukhoi PAK-FA is a new Russian fifth generation stealth fighter that has completed its first flight tests. The PAK-FA shares many similarities with the F-22 such as supercruise capability and thrust vectoring, but also has additional attributes like extreme agility and a large internal fuel capacity. Initial analysis indicates the production PAK-FA may outperform the F-22 aerodynamically and kinematically, posing a serious threat. Russia intends to operate at least 200 PAK-FA aircraft.
