What is Hazy Mountain: An Indian Boy about?

Hazy Mountain is an Indian boy who lives with his parents in a buffalo hide tent. He is always daydreaming of becoming a chief. One day, his father tells him about a pony named White Star that no one can ride. Hazy tries to ride White Star but is unsuccessful. Inspired by an ant, Hazy decides to actually try riding White Star instead of just dreaming about it. Through repeated attempts, Hazy is able to ride White Star, earning the right to keep the pony.
