The Ghanaian Ministry of Food and Agriculture announced the prices of subsidized fertilizers for small-scale farmers in the 2017 farming season. Through the National Fertilizer Subsidy Programme, the government will cover 50% of the costs of various fertilizers. Compound fertilizer will be GH¢57.5 per 50kg bag and urea will be GH¢47.5 per 50kg bag.
