This study investigated the growing conditions of Keruing trees (Dipterocarpus spp.) in the Tangkahan Ecotourism area of Gunung Leuser National Park in North Sumatra. Tree inventories were conducted in 100m x 100m plots divided into 20m x 20m sub-plots. Three Dipterocarpus species were identified: D. constulatus, D. elongatus Korth, and D. haseltii.
