What is Hot Fusion: Music, Art, and Computer Science Education about?

This panel will be a conversation about the challenges of creating interdisciplinary programs and teaching interdisciplinary courses linking computer science and the arts. Three panelists will offer the benefit of their experience teaching interdisciplinary courses, overseeing the development of interdisciplinary programs, writing interdisciplinary computer science/arts textbooks, and mentoring students on interdisciplinary projects with significant and fascinating scientific and creative components. The overarching question will be "how do we teach creative computational problem solving with intentionality in interdisciplinary arts/computer science courses"?
