In this story, we learn about the Feast of the Three Kings, which is an event marking the journey of the Three Wise Men. We also learn about family dynamics in this society. Josefina's father chooses a new wife after the death of her mother. Josefina must struggle to accept this new woman in her mother's role.</p>
