IgG molecules are composed of two heavy and two light chains linked by disulfide bonds. Digestion of IgG yields antigen-binding fragments or crystalline fragments. IgG can be further divided into variable and constant domains. IgM molecules are pentamers composed of five monomeric units linked by J-chains.
