This retrospective cohort study analyzed the incidence of acute bronchitis and bronchiolitis in children with asthma and allergic rhinitis using data from 5,027,486 children in Taiwan. Results indicated that children with asthma had the highest incidence rates of bronchitis and bronchiolitis compared to those with allergic rhinitis and non-AR cohorts. The study concludes that children with asthma are at a greater risk for developing these respiratory conditions than those with allergic rhinitis.
