About this document
Schematic of Symmetric Power Source by Denis E. S. Matos is a document available to read on EtoBox.
A symmetrical power source converts alternating current from a transformer into direct current. It takes current from the transformer, which adjusts the public network voltage to what the circuit needs. Current enters a diode bridge that converts the alternating current to direct current. The symmetrical source has three input pins and three output pins because the transformer has a central tap, and when rectified, the source delivers positive voltage, negative voltage, and a ground point.
