This study assessed the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of mothers/caregivers regarding infant and young child feeding (IYCF) in Assosa Woreda, Ethiopia, involving 486 participants. Results indicated that while 93.8% had good knowledge of IYCF practices, only 19% recognized the importance of colostrum, and various socio-demographic factors influenced their knowledge levels. The findings suggest the need for behavior change communication interventions to improve IYCF practices among mothers/caregiver
