While she does have purple hair,green eyes, and a few likes and interests that are similar tomine, she is Willow.I just really, really had to write a purple-haired, plus sizeheroine who embraced and loved her body because it’s what Iwish I could do. I’ve fought with my self-image for so manyyears (and still do). It’s a tough journey to learn to loveyourself and the body you’re in despite all its flaws. We knowmany people struggle with this, that many of you, our belovedreaders, struggle with it. Know that we see you, and you arebeautiful.Which brings me to why Willow was a boudoir photographer.After the birth of our third child, I suffered throughundiagnosed post-partum depression. I had lost so much weightbefore the pregnancy, but afterward, I just couldn’t lose itagain. I struggled.
