**Concerning the Calculation of Values of the Critical Concentration of Mizellization for Isomeric and Substituted Alkane Sulphonates** Based on Lin's approach hydrophobicity indices I have been calculated for the isomeric dodecane sulphonates and some substituted alkane sulphonates from published c~K~ data. These I values are useful for estimating c~K~ values of new surface active alkane sulphonates.
