About this document
Bristol Vet Students Use Cow Simulators by Diego Boytrön is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Veterinary students at Bristol University are using a new "cow machine" with two rectal simulators to learn about the internal anatomy of cows. The simulators allow students to practice diagnosing pregnancies and performing artificial insemination and embryo transfers without using live animals. The university has found that the simulators make students more competent earlier and affect cows minimally.
