This article presents a new simplified model for calculating heat transfer during airflow through finned tube bundles in air cooled condenser systems. The model was developed using 736 sets of experimental data from 10 reputable sources. It can calculate heat transfer coefficients for airflow velocities between 0.1-20 m/s, ambient temperatures of 15-43°C, fin heights of 2.7-7.5mm, and other parameters.
