What is Petronas Advances Third FLNG Unit Plans about?

Petronas has invited companies to bid on front-end engineering and design work for its third floating LNG production unit with a capacity of 2-3 million tonnes per year. This will be located off Sabah, Malaysia. Petronas already operates two FLNG units and was the first company to operate two units simultaneously. Ivory Coast is seeking offers to provide and operate a floating storage and regasification unit to supply LNG to the country and help address its growing energy needs. Bids are due by June 14th.
