About this document

Antibiotic-Resistant H. influenzae in Children by Miloud Bengharbi is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the presence of antibiotic-resistant Haemophilus influenzae strains in children undergoing adenotonsillectomy. Out of 1001 isolates examined, 325 were identified as persistent genotypes that remained post-surgery, while 506 were transient and eliminated by the procedure. The study found varying levels of antibiotic resistance, with no persistent strains resistant to ampicillin, but higher resistance to co-trimoxazole compared to transient strains.
