The study investigates the synthesis and antimicrobial properties of a chitosan-magnesium nanocomposite (CS-Mg) against rice pathogens Acidovorax oryzae and Rhizoctonia solani. Results indicate that CS-Mg exhibits strong antibacterial and antifungal activities, effectively inhibiting the growth of these pathogens without cytotoxic effects on human cells. The findings suggest that CS-Mg could serve as a promising alternative to traditional pesticides in rice production.
