This study evaluates the clinical usefulness of pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A), human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), and progesterone in diagnosing early pregnancy failure. Results show that while PAPP-A levels decrease in cases of abnormal intrauterine pregnancies (abIUP) and extrauterine pregnancies (EUP), hCG and progesterone remain the most reliable markers for diagnosis.
