Can I read Understanding the Ferranti Effect in Lines on EtoBox?

Understanding the Ferranti Effect in Lines by jaspreet is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Understanding the Ferranti Effect in Lines about?

The Ferranti effect occurs in long electric transmission lines where the receiving end voltage is higher than the sending end voltage. This effect happens due to the capacitive properties of long transmission lines, where charging current increases the receiving end voltage when the line is open or lightly loaded. Specifically, the Ferranti effect causes an 800kV transmission to have a receiving voltage of 802-803kV rather than the sending 800kV.
