About this document
Rock Fragmentation Risk Assessment by W N Nan Fajar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document describes a study that used a rock engineering system (RES) technique and non-linear multiple regression (NLMR) to assess risk and predict rock fragmentation from blasting operations at a copper mine in Iran. 52 blasting events were analyzed based on 10 key parameters related to blasting design. The RES results showed a medium-high level of risk. Burden was found to be the most influential factor on fragmentation. The RES model predicted fragmentation more accurately than NLMR, with lower erro
