Otorists in Nairobi yesterday protested after the county raised parking fees from Sh140 to Sh300 per day. The new fees caught many motorists unawares, with some vowing to leave their cars at home today. Activist Okiya Omtatah described the move as "crude" and called on Governor Evans Kidero to seek alternative ways of raising revenue.
