This paper presents a method for estimating the parameter settings of guitar effects using audio feature extraction and shallow neural networks. The proposed approach allows for the classification of guitar effects and the estimation of their parameters from audio recordings, achieving average estimation errors of ±5% to ±16%. The results indicate that the method could perform at a level comparable to human experts in recognizing guitar effects.
