What is Fatal Analysis : a True Story of Professional Privilege and Murder about?
Psychologist Martin Obler's newest patient, Devon Cardou, is a brilliant, charismatic, disturbed young man having violent, bloody dreams. Though Obler tries to help Devon cope with reality, the doctor grows more and more uneasy, when he reads in the newspapers about a recent series of murders. The grizzly details sound horrifyingly familiar. As Obler enters the mind of a madman, he finds himself caught in a terrifying web of manipulation, deceit, suspicion and danger. Torn between his oath of confidentiality, loyalty to his patient and the pressing desire to protect society, Obler's ethical and moral dilemma has begun... Then the doctor finds out his own fiance is being stalked. Suddenly, what had been a professional, intellectual quandary becomes a personal, real life nightmare.
