What is ABLE (Jim Able: Offworld Book 1) about?

Each First Contact is tricky; there's a lot of money at stake So it's odd when an alien from a new race really doesn’t want to make contact at all—much preferring to quietly go shopping. Jim Able's job is to find out who this alien calling himself "Edward of Turcania" really is. Tracking Edward to his home planet, Jim enlists the help of professor and TV personality, Madhar Nect. She introduces him to the divisive religious minority that Edward belongs to. Jim soon discovers Edward has no intention of being found or ever revealing his true intentions. Warned not to start a war, how far will Jim go to get face-to-face with his target on a strange world fractured by religious and political hostilities? ABLE is the first episode of Jim Able: Offworld. This story—sometimes humorous, sometimes deep—spans four episodes: short reads of 10 to 15K words.
