This document evaluates the use of flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS) to analyze the concentration of Sr/Ca in Porites coral samples from Ambon Bay and Jukung Island. The average Sr/Ca ratios were 8.71 mmol/mol for Ambon Bay coral and 7.708 mmol/mol for Jukung Island coral.
