This KjelOptimizer report provides information on a standard Kjeldahl nitrogen analysis of a 0.2000 g organic sample containing 12.70% nitrogen. The sample was digested for 120 minutes using 4.5 g of Kjeldahl catalyst and 9 mL of 98% sulfuric acid. The distillation transferred the digest into a boric acid solution using 35 mL of water and 42 mL of 32% sodium hydroxide.
