The Supreme Court of the Philippines affirmed the conviction of Rodan Bangayan for violating the Anti-Rape Law by having sexual intercourse with AAA, a minor, on several occasions including in January 2012 when she was 12 years old. Bangayan was sentenced to 14 years and 8 months to 20 years imprisonment. The Court of Appeals and trial court both found Bangayan guilty beyond reasonable doubt based on testimony from AAA
