What is Hinge Location Impact on Corneal Sensation about?

This document discusses a study that evaluated the effects of superior versus nasal hinge locations for the corneal flap in LASIK surgery on corneal sensation and dry eye. The study found that eyes with a nasal hinge location had significantly better nasal corneal sensation one month after surgery compared to those with a superior hinge location, but there were no other significant differences between the groups in parameters measured.
