What is Overview of Greek Ethics and Philosophers about?

Greek ethics began with the sophists in the 5th century BC and flourished with thinkers like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Socrates believed that virtue is knowledge and that education leads to virtue. Plato considered that the good is essential to reality and that evil is an absence of good. Aristotle wrote systematic treatises on ethics and considered that happiness is the goal but it is necessary to determine the processes to achieve it.
