What is Classic Poems on Love and Nature about?

The poem describes a young man struck suddenly by love at first sight of a beautiful girl. He becomes paralyzed, his face turns pale, his blood rushes, and his eyesight fails. All he can see is her sweet face, and the natural world around him seems like midnight at noon. Though she does not acknowledge his silent, lovestruck appeals, for him in that moment her face was the most beautiful he had ever seen.
