This study evaluates the use of Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) and foundry sand to enhance the durability of concrete, addressing issues of autogenous shrinkage and internal curing. Results indicate that incorporating 0.4% SAP significantly improves compressive strength, reduces permeability, and enhances resistance to chemical attacks, making it the optimal dosage for durability. The findings suggest that SAP not only improves internal curing but also contributes to sustainable construction practices.
