This letter reports the first case of proteinuria developing after a centipede bite. A 15-year-old girl presented with mild edema and pain in her left wrist 2 hours after being bitten by a centipede. Six days later, she still had swelling and pain, and was found to have proteinuria of 1.7 g/1.73 m2 per day. The proteinuria increased to a maximum of 2.8 g/1.73 m2 per day 3 weeks after the bite before spontaneously decreasing over time.
