Bruvax is a live vaccine used to prevent brucellosis, a contagious disease caused by Brucella bacteria, in cattle. The vaccine contains live Brucella abortus strain 19 bacteria. It should only be administered subcutaneously to female calves between 4-8 months old. The vaccine must be stored and transported between 2-8°C and has a shelf life of 12 months.
